Cruise Koh Tao with a Private Boat Charter on the Goodtime Speedboat

After two months of intensive training, tons of fun, and many wonderful experiences, I'm proud but also a little sad that I've now completed my Divemaster certification. I'd like to sincerely thank everyone who accompanied me on this journey for the tips, tricks, pleasant conversations, and activities off the water! Even the somewhat dreaded snorkel test will forever remain a cherished memory. It was simply fantastic and an incredibly satisfying conclusion to a phenomenal time. Ana, Lydia, Ezgi, Ryan, Mira, T2, Joe, Max, Andrea, Shai, Bart, and Charly, thank you so much for everything. Lydia, Gary, and Gilly, all the best and have fun for the rest of your training! Kwan, thank you so much for the excellent food when I was out on the boat longer than usual and for all the lovely conversations. A heartfelt thank you also goes to all the wonderful people behind the bar and in the kitchen of the Goodtimes Bar (Nini, Myo, Jo, etc.) – you're doing an outstanding job! Thank you so much for all the delicious food! Eimear, you're not only a master in the water, but also when it comes to food and drink. The next few Saturdays are going to be extremely tough without your fantastic spare ribs. Last but not least, Lukas – what an amazing guy!! Thank you so much for the gentle introduction to the DMT program for my ears. I learned so much from you – and not just about diving. You're a true role model, yet still so much fun! It's an honor to be part of the Goodtimes family.

A few days ago I went snorkeling for the first time. I couldn't have had a better team to facilitate the experience! Thank you Lydia, Ana and Mira for an awesome day 😁

I had a fantastic time on Koh Tao, and I spent a large part of it at Goodtime. I started with a refresher course with Ryan. He did a great job, and it was simply wonderful to be underwater again. The next day, I continued with Perfect Buoyancy with Lukas. It was an amazing course. Afterward, my position in the water was so much better. That night, I did a beautiful night dive with him. The following morning, I did two fun dives with Lydia. Finally able to maintain my altitude, I could really enjoy the dives. On all my dives, I was accompanied by DMT Michi, who was always incredibly friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, due to personal reasons, I couldn't continue diving. They really moved heaven and earth to make it work. Despite a relatively full schedule, my dives were rescheduled several times, but in the end, it just wasn't enough. That was 100% my fault. During that time, I was recommended many great snorkeling spots, and I was able to see numerous turtles there. I can highly recommend the dive center, not least because of the fantastic beach with its beach club. Beautifully situated with delicious food and good drinks.

Spoon, Anna and Micheal were AMAZING! We saw green turtles during our snorkel dives. Can’t wait to go for scuba dive with them. Highly recommend them, their fun games and jump competitions 🥳 Update: just done two of their scuba dives. Had an amazing dive. T2 is an amazing diving instructor.

Came to Thailand as part of a group trip and our trip advisor recommend this company for a fun snorkel adventure. I 100% see why! The crew was attentive, fun, informative and super friendly! We had a huge group of us and they handled it like champions! We went to a private island where a beach connected them and when we all went to the view point Anna stayed behind to watch over all our bags and personal belongings, true VIP for that! While going to the different locations Michael had us play a bunch of games that included free drinks and who could pass on that opportunity? Great way to pass the time! While out on the water spoon was a well of knowledge about the local wildlife! She was able to tell us all the different fish species when we asked! You can tell she really cares for the wildlife too, there was a different group that showed up and they were going and touching the sea turtle we stumbled upon and she made it very clear to that group that we are guests in the turtles home and to look but don’t touch! We finished our day by having a little boat collect us from the main boat we were on and drop us off right in the beach closer to our resort instead of at a pier. The captain of the smaller boat Lucas crushed the multiple trips due to how large are group was. I had never been snorkeling before and after this experience I would love to go again! 10/10 would recommend this company for a fun daytime activity, especially if you’ve got a larger group!

Tired these guys out for my first time scuba dive and did not disappoint. I was pretty nervous going into having had a bad snorkel experience before and a fear of open water, but the team of Lucas, Lydia and Mike did SUCH a good job of taking it slow, thoroughly explaining everything and being super patient with me. Would throughly recommend and would go again 🤙🤙
