In the SSI Marine Ecology Specialty program, you will learn how ocean organisms interact with each other and their environments. Go beyond simply identifying marine life and begin to understand the deeper connections that shape coral reefs and tropical ecosystems.
This course explores how energy flows through marine communities, how different habitats support one another, and how environmental pressures impact the underwater world. As you dive around Koh Tao, you will start to see the reef not as separate species, but as a living, interconnected system. By the end of the program, you will have a stronger ecological understanding of what you are seeing on every dive and a greater appreciation for how to protect it.

If you are looking for a one day dive, we definitely highly recommend them. They have great equipment and absolutely amazing instructors. Ana and Mike were the best! But the whole goodtime team was perfect, smiling, friendly and helpful! Mike took pictures of our underwater experience and we have memories to last a lifetime. Once again a huge thank you! 🤙🏻❤️
