React Right is an emergency responder training course and is open to anyone who is eager to learn how to react in an emergency and assist those who are ill or injured. The course consists of a number of components including primary assessment, first aid & CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) skills, and primary stabilization techniques. Aside from learning CPR and how to assess and tend to illnesses and injuries, you will also learn how to prevent accidents or situations that will lead to emergencies.
As well as being a fantastic skill and qualification in general, having first aid and CPR training is a prerequisite to the Diver Stress and Rescue Course and all professional level diving programs. So if the goal of your Koh Tao diving activities is to get rescue certified or go pro, then you’ll need to get this course in the bag before getting started.
