Mae Haad beach gets a proper sound system and a lineup that means business. Bass Night brings drum & bass and UK garage to the Goodtime beachfront — MK1, MC Felon, Rupert Holmes, Fusion, and Point.99 on the decks and mic through the evening. This is not background music for a beach bar. This is a proper night.
DNB and UK garage don’t always find their way to islands like this. When they do, the crowd that turns up tends to be the crowd that knows — people who’ve been waiting for a night that sounds like something from back home, or somewhere they’ve always wanted to go. The rolling bass, the two-step, the MC holding it together between drops — it works differently outside, on a beach, in warm air, with the Gulf of Thailand behind you. Better, usually.
MK1, MC Felon, Rupert Holmes, Fusion, Point.99. Between them, a serious body of work in both genres and the kind of live chemistry that only happens when everyone on stage actually knows the music. Goodtime’s beachfront. One night. Come ready.

Paradise Breaks is Koh Tao’s creative media platform — documenting the island’s music scene and producing original content from the beach club.
