Overview

Rock 3 addresses the question every serious climber eventually asks: what do you do when something goes wrong? The course is built entirely around rescue scenarios — stuck ropes, injured partners, assisted and unassisted descents, hauling systems, and managing emergencies at anchor. It’s not a theoretical exercise. Every scenario is practised on real rock at Koh Tao’s crags, which means the skills are immediately applicable to any venue you climb at in the future.

The course is designed for climbers who already lead — whether that’s top rope, sport, or multi-pitch — and covers rescue techniques relevant across all three formats. That breadth is intentional: emergencies don’t sort themselves neatly by climbing style, and the ability to respond effectively regardless of the setup is what the course is building toward.

Rescue technique is the gap in most recreational climbers’ training, and Rock 3 closes it. Completing this course makes you a significantly more capable and self-sufficient climbing partner — the kind of person others want on the other end of their rope when conditions get serious.

Course Highlights

The Skill Set Most Climbers Are Missing

Rescue technique is the gap in most climbers' training — Rock 3 closes it and makes you a significantly more capable and self-sufficient partner on any route.

Covers All Climbing Styles

Whether you top rope, sport lead, or multi-pitch, the rescue techniques covered apply across all formats — this course is relevant regardless of where you are in the pathway.

Built for Real Emergencies

Every scenario in Rock 3 is based on situations that actually happen on the rock — not textbook exercises, but practical skills for genuine emergencies.
