The Beach club

Goodtime Beach Club is Mae Haad’s all-day hangout. Coffee and your laptop in the morning. Lunch on the beach. Cocktails at golden hour. Dinner with the sunset. There’s no reason to go anywhere else — and most people don’t.

Divers, remote workers, families, locals, and people who just wandered in off the ferry. Everyone ends up here eventually, and nobody’s in a hurry to leave.

The kitchen runs from 10:00 through 21:00. The bar until 11. Walk in whenever.

The menu runs from breakfast through dinner — everything on homemade sourdough, house-made sauces, and a genuinely varied selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes that aren’t afterthoughts. The kitchen bakes daily and the pastry selection changes.

Breakfast runs until 17:00, which is useful if you’ve been on a morning dive and lost track of time. The dinner menu from 17:00 steps up — hanger steak, yellowfin tuna, Myanmar curry plate, clay pot jackfruit biryani.

Vegan and vegetarian options run through every section of the menu. If you have dietary requirements, our team can help.

The Beach

The beach in front of Goodtime is sandy, calm for most of the year, and better than most people expect from a major beach on a busy island. You can swim directly off the shore and the snorkeling on the reef at the southern end is genuinely worth doing.

There’s always a reason to stay one more hour. Paddleboards and snorkel gear are available to hire by the hour. The beach gym is free and open daily.
